Terms and Conditions – HAFA

We believe in clear agreements. No unnecessary legal jargon. Just clarity, so that everyone knows where they stand.

1. Definitions

We keep it simple. One definition is the most important:

Customer: any natural person or legal entity that purchases products from HAFA.

3. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements between HAFA and its customers, both consumers and business customers.
By placing an order or purchasing a product, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

If specific products have additional terms and conditions, these apply in addition to these general terms and conditions.

4. Our products

HAFA sells physical products, including pop-up roofs.
All product descriptions, prices, and availability are displayed as accurately as possible.
Obvious errors or mistakes are not binding on HAFA.

5. The agreement

An agreement is concluded as soon as the customer confirms the order and the payment arrangements have been agreed.
HAFA confirms the agreement by email or other agreed means of communication.

6. Prices

  • All prices are set in advance and clearly stated.

  • All prices quoted include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

  • Shipping costs will be clearly stated when completing the purchase.

7. Payment

Payment can be made via:

  • a bank transfer

    a cash payment of up to €3,000

Orders will be processed as soon as the payment arrangements have been completed.

8. Pickup & availability

  • Due to their large size, all products must be picked up in person at a HAFA branch.

  • Pickup is only possible by appointment.

  • If a product is not in stock, the expected delivery time is a maximum of 10 weeks.

9. Installation & customer responsibilities

Installation options

  • Customers can choose to install a HAFA pop-up roof themselves.

  • HAFA provides assembly instructions for self-assembly.

  • HAFA can provide remote support, for example via telephone or FaceTime, but this is for advisory purposes only.

Safety in the workplace

  • For safety reasons, customers are not permitted to move around the workshop during installation, in order to prevent distractions and to keep staff from being hindered.

10. Returns & cancellations

  • Customers can cancel or return products within 3 days of purchase.

  • Returns and cancellations are free of charge.

  • Returned products must be in their original condition and complete.

11. Warranty

  • Sleeping roofs come with a 3-year warranty.

  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal and proper use.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Incorrect or faulty self-assembly by the customer

  • Damage caused by third parties

  • Transport damage after collection by the customer

  • Misuse, modifications, or insufficient maintenance

This warranty is in addition to the customer's statutory rights.

12. Liability

HAFA works carefully and professionally. Nevertheless, the following applies:

  • HAFA is not liable for scratches, dents, or other damage to the customer's vehicle, unless claimed by HAFA.

  • HAFA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

  • HAFA's liability is limited to the amount paid for the product in question, unless mandatory law stipulates otherwise.

13. Privacy

HAFA only processes personal data when necessary, for example:

  • To answer questions

  • To schedule appointments

14. Complaints

Do you have a complaint? Please contact us as soon as possible and describe the problem clearly.
We will assess the complaint and strive to provide a suitable solution as quickly as possible.

15. Changes to these terms and conditions

If these general terms and conditions are amended, the most recent version will always be published on our website.
Changes will never be unreasonably disadvantageous to customers.
